Precision Engineering, a reputable engineering firm specializing in construction projects, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Inspector. In this role, experience is highly valued, but individuals with a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field will also be considered. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting inspections, documenting findings, and maintaining accurate daily reports to ensure the quality and compliance of construction projects undertaken by Precision Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections on construction sites to assess compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Identify and address potential construction issues, deviations, deficiencies, or non-compliance.
- Document inspection results, noting any deviations, deficiencies, or non-compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of daily inspections and activities.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address issues promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest construction industry standards, codes, and regulations to effectively identify and report potential issues.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare reports, track inspection data, and communicate findings.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and inspection techniques.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications or training in construction inspection is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential construction issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for report preparation and data management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep up with daily reports and documentation.
